Miserere. When the night falls, they shall cover themselves with it is a contemporary dance piece by La Phármaco. It studies the rites (from prehistoric to current ones) in ceremonies (religious, sports, military) in the folklore of all times and cultures as universal expressions of the internal works of collective thinking.
In Miserere, as in A Great Political Emotion, the dance, its composition, the music, the wardrobe color, the scenography, Jorge Colomer‘s lighting and Virginia Rota‘s photography were the conceptual and esthetic beacons from which I decided the direction of the graphic work, which images to highlight, what font and color to use and how to apply it onto each piece to translate the work into the graphic plane.
