The paper and the light is not only the title of this project made with lamps made out of paper from the designer Juan Santos. It is also the key elements serving as a starting point to develop the narrative of the exhibition and the visual discourse of each of the graphic pieces. From the poster to the catalogue, including the space and the exhibit graphic work.
By listening to the paper lamps and letting them speak, we decided to work with the space and the design of the pieces letting them breathe. The delicate nature of each one and the softness or the light they shine, the translucent, the ethereal, the texture…Working from minimalism, seeking to express the essential and playing with the only dot of orange color in the die that we gave to the attendants as a present, so that they could recreate their own little paper lamp.
